And I can open Bridge from it’s own link and get to PS Wasn’t sure if it was overall (Java) or PS related. I downloaded the newest java last night after I posted here. I have PS CS3 extended (WIN XP) and tonight I clicked on Bridge and gotĮrror message, "could not complete your request because PS was unable toįind the JavaScript plug-in" Doesn’t work from PS, but I have the link to Bridge on my desktop and it opens from there. I have never been given a new serial number. I have never found this to be an issue, and I have had to do this twice in the past both because of major hard drive crashes, the last time being four years ago. If you had "CS" installed on a computer you sold, or one which has been scrapped, or the HD has been upgraded with OS reinstall without "CS" being deactivated first, you will have to contact Adobe for a fix. To do that go to the "Help" menu and select "Deactivate". If I want to install CS5 on a new computer I must first deactivate it on on one of the two computers it is active on. The "CS" purchase permits me to install on two computers, and reinstall on the same computers any number of times. I have gone through PS7, CS, CS2, CS4, and CS5 on six different computers (all Macs), but the same version is only on two at any time. I am not sure of what you guys are referring to regarding reinstall limits. I think if I want to reinstall PS after the limit I have to call Adobe for a new serial number? ![]() I’ve only reinistalled PS CS3 twice since I bought it and once was after I had to reinstall Windows XP (first time since I bought computer 5 years before). I looked in the files on the PS cd and couldn’t see anything that might relate (to replace or put in). And I can open Bridge from it’s own link and get to PS (after) from there. it’s free for heavens sake stop reloading PS. ![]() Why can’t you download the latest java script. I’ll keep playing around with it, though probably not tonight, and see if something changes. I really don’t want to install PS again, I’ve done it twice already (same computer) not sure if it’s true but seems like I heard something about having to get a new serial number if you install it too many times. In this folder, copy the the downloaded file "custom_export_import.I have PS CS3 extended (WIN XP) and tonight I clicked on Bridge and got error message, "could not complete your request because PS was unable to find the JavaScript plug-in" Doesn’t work from PS, but I have the link to Bridge on my desktop and it opens from there.Īnyone know what this is and how I can fix it?
